AT&T Luring New Customers With the Power of “Guitar Hero”

Count AT&T as the latest company to hop on the Guitar Hero gravy train. Coinciding with
the release of Guitar Hero: World Tour Mobile, AT&T announced that it is offering a
gratis copy of the console version of Guitar Hero: World Tour (complete with guitar) to
anyone signing up for their high-speed internet or U-verse mobile television service. In
addition to the sign-up swag, they’ll also be giving away downloads of four exclusive
Guitar Hero: World Tour Mobile tracks, which will be made available in December. The
newest mobile version of Guitar Hero, the follow-up to the excellent Guitar Hero III
Mobile, offers the option to play along with drum tracks as well as guitars. AT&T is also
running a concurrent contest where the winner can snag a guitar, bass, drums and a
$1,000 Guitar Center gift certificate.

Kingdom Come live album slated for
release


German hard rockers KINGDOM COME have completed
work on their new album. According to an online posting by
KINGDOM COME's webmaster Marko Wolf (brother of
KINGDOM COME mainman Lenny Wolf), "It looks like that
all label and distribution issues are sorted out soon, so that
the release time can be set to February 2009.

Rocker Back gains cartoon-character status

Sebastian Bach has completed work on 2 upcoming episodes of
the cartoon 'Spongebob Squarepants' as the voice of 'Triton'.
Bach has also completed work on an upcoming episode of
'Robot Chicken', part of 'Adult Swim' on the Cartoon
Network as the voices of 'Wildman' & 'Martian Manhunter'.
Airdates for both shows are TBD.
