Axl finally unveils "Democracy" single, but is it really G n'R?
Radio listeners were rewarded for their years of patience this
morning when rock stations across the country added Guns N' Roses'
official new single “Chinese Democracy” to their playlists. The track
marks the first time a Chinese Democracy song has been officially
released to radio, as opposed to leaked. The song is comparable to
the leaked versions that have emerged, but even on an Internet
stream the sound quality is clearly superior.

AC/DC to play their 2000th concert
Arnaud Durieux of AC-DC.net reports that Australian hard rock legends AC/DC
will hit a milestone during their upcoming "Black Ice" U.S. tour: the band will play
its 2000th concert.
Due to the lack of solid touring information during the years 1974/75 when the
band played clubs and pubs in Australia, it is impossible to pinpoint exactly which
concert will bear this number, but according to information available at this time,
concert No. 2000 should take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 20,
2008. What is certain is that this milestone will be reached at some point during
the "Black Ice" tour.

ESP (ERIC SINGER PROJECT), the band featuring Bruce Kulick (KISS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, UNION), Eric Singer (KISS,
Alice Cooper, BLACK SABBATH, Lita Ford), John Corabi (MÖTLEY CRÜE, RATT, UNION) and Chuck Garric (Alice Cooper, DIO), will
embark on a European tour in early 2009. So far the following dates have been announced:
Feb. 18 - Pratteln, Switzerland - Z7
Feb. 21 - Jevnaker, Norway - Glassheim
