What can you say about Motley
Crue that hasn't been said time
and again?  From its meteoic rise
to fame back in the early 80s,
the band always stood heads
above other Sunset Strip
hopefuls with its infectious blend
of rock, metal, glam, and punk.
The new Saints of Los Angeles
release gives Crue Heads what
they've been clamoring for since
the tumultuous post-
Dr. Feelgood
days.  Saints is a killer from start
to finish -- Mick Mars is a demon
on the fretboard, and Tommy Lee's
drumming is... woah,
dude!!!
I couldn't wait to review Saints, given that what I'd heard in pre-release was such kick ass.  I've included two versions
of the review.  The first is the unedited original version which is more descriptive and delves into a bit of band history.
Nunber two is the version which appeared in TheGazz on 7/2/2008.  I'm not one to be critical because I understand
the goings on of the editing desk.  However, I think TheGazz edition has a couple of inconsistencies and loses a bit of
the vibe from the original.  Nonetheless, a million thanx to the staff for allowing me such valued and quality space... I
love y'all!!
